Updates to 2010 IVF Success Data

Yesterday it was brought to our attention that SART updated their 2010 IVF Success Rates Report. It is not uncommon for them to do this periodically as corrections are made to the initial reporting. SART does not have a system in place to notify the public when such changes are made, so we are unsure when this new data was introduced.

In order to maintain the integrity of our index, we moved swiftly to identify the changes and incorporate them into our site.

This update to our index has resulted in three new clinics being listed in our National Top 25 Rank Report. As a result, many other clinics listed in this report have dropped in rank.

Please take a few moments to review the latest data here:

Feel free to comment in this post if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks!

EDIT 08/29/12 A few clinics have contacted us and understandably expressed concern about the change and statistics. One clinic even contacted SART and was reassured that once the statistics are published, they are not modified. It could be that we have a difference in opinion as to what constitutes modification. We are aware of at least three modifications in this last round of changes:

1. A new clinic, Georgia Center for Reproductive Medicine – Savannah, Georgia, was added to the index. It appears that this is the first year that this clinic has reported to SART.

2. Originally, HRC Encino, HRC Orange County and HRC Pasadena were all reporting the identical success rates data. No doubt this was an error with the initial reporting. The update from SART now shows unique statistics for each location. It appears that this is the first year that these locations reported data independently.
